Warm Weekend in Hertfordshire

This weekend was the warmest weekend of the summer, even if it is October. We headed to the town where we used to live in Hertfordshire for some country park strolls and sunshine.

It was such a nice relaxing weekend which we finished off with drinks in Parson's Green and a walk with the Thames. We haven't had a 'real' vacation this summer, but this break is what I needed to unwind. Just getting back into the weekly routine that has been a challenge today.

How was your weekend?

  1. It's really nice to get out of the big city and head to the smaller towns of England sometimes. I get so excited when we go visit Dave's moms town, because it's just so quaint and calm.

And what the heck is with this weather? It was SO hot this weekend! I felt like I was back in Florida.
